This
year the matches will be held at Henne Field in Downtown Saline on Thursday July 10. Admission is free.
The Washtenaw Rugby Football Club will play the first match at 5:30PM. The WRFC finished second in the high school state championships in 2007. The club is made up of high school age players from across the county.
The second match will be between the Detroit Rugby Football Club woman's team and a team made up of women from Ann Arbor and Flint teams. The Detroit club is the National Champions of Women's Division II.
The last match will be between the Detroit Rugby Football Club men's team and the Flint Rogues.
Rugby is an exciting sport full of contact and skill. Played throughout Celtic communities world-wide it is the fore runner of American Football.
After the matches fans can join the players at the local restaurants and pubs in celebration of the matches and good sportsmanship.

July 11: MUSIC and FOOD
- 5:00 PM Dinner with the Athletes, Saline American Legion
- 7:00 PM Gaelic Football, Henne Field free admission
- Contra Dance: Friday evening from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. there will be a contra dance at Mill Pond Park on the Dance Stage. This is free and open to the public. Music will be provided by Ann Arbor's own Scalar Scalawags, and the caller is Drake Meadow. No experience necessary - come and join in the fun!
- 7:30 PM Red Dragon Tent -- Mill Pond Park "Pub in the Park" Pub music, Limerick contest and Mr. Bonnie Legs contest $5.00 per person cover charge for the evening. Children under 12 free.
There will be "readings of limericks" and "legs a plenty" as the 2nd annual
MR. PRETTY LEGS CONTEST gets under way at 8:00 pm.
Come relax and enjoy live music throughout the evening. Beverages and alcoholic drinks available. For your enjoyment, various food vendors will be open.
