2010 Saline Celtic Festival: Saturday, July 17

Wee Folks Island is a magical place for our wee Celts to go!  The Island features something for everyone, be they lad or lassie.  There is shield painting for the young knights, crown making for our fair maidens, other medieval crafts, and Wee Athletics - caber tosses and Wellington throws - for the sportsmen and -women.  Wee Folks Island also has special events: three Rubber Ducky Races with prizes, a Family Jam (musical performance) by AnDro (led by Michele Venegas), and a Wee Folks Parade at 4:00 (with our Wee Guests as the parade members!).  All activities on the Island (with the exception of the Ducky Races) are free and appropriate for wee ones of all ages!  And all visitors to the Island will leave with a prize!

Wee Folks Schedule of Events: 

12:00 (noon) - Island opens

12:00-4:00 - Wee Folks crafts and athletics

1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 - Ducky Races

2:30 - Performance (“Family Jam”) by AnDro

4:00 - Wee Folks Parade
